Lawyer-Teen Love Affair Detailed

A former Montgomery County [OH] public defender admits hiding a teenage boy in an apartment near where she was vacationing with her husband and children "so they could secretly spend time together," according to records filed with the Ohio Supreme Court.

Jennifer Krieger Hughes also admits buying Bradley Willoughby, now 19, three cars in five months, renting him a hotel room in Miamisburg and an apartment in Dayton she then furnished with items, including a python and cat toys.

They had an affair that ended in February 2004 in a violent quarrel at her home in Springboro, according to her written response to allegations filed in December by the high court's disciplinary counsel.

Hughes, 36, had represented Willoughby in courts in Miami and Montgomery counties.

No criminal charges have been filed against Hughes, but she could lose her law license. Details here from the Dayton Daily News. (via How Appealing)
