A lawyer who fled the city before charges alleging rape of an infant and child pornography could be filed is now on the U.S. Marshals' most-wanted list.
John Dallas Lockhart, 36, of the first block of Marvin Avenue, fled Akron in mid-August, according to the Akron division of the U.S. Marshals Service, Northern District of Ohio.
The Akron Police Department said about 100 pornographic pictures were found on Lockhart's computer during a service call. An infant is alleged to be the object of the pictures and the victim of the rape.
The marshals service said investigators believe Lockhart sexually assaulted the infant, produced photos, then shared the images with others via computer.
