It appears Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger will soon have a chance to fill a coveted spot on an influential San Jose-based state appeals court.
William Wunderlich, a veteran justice on [California's] 6th District Court of Appeal, has been selected to fill a vacant federal magistrate judge position in Yosemite National Park, considered a plum job in the federal judiciary. . . .
[T]he Yosemite job comes with a perk, according to Wunderlich: a house and a courtroom in the shadow of Yosemite Falls.
