This morning, the First District Court of Appeal issued the following announcement setting the cases for oral argument on July 10, 2006:
The parties are advised that the consolidated cases herein are ordered calendared to be heard before Division 3 of this court on July 10, 2006 at 350 McAllister Street, Fourth Floor, SAn Francisco, CA 94102. Appellate case numbers A110449, A110450, A110451 and A110463 will be heard at 9:00 a.m. and appellate case numbers A110651 and A110652 will be heard at 1:30 p.m. on the aforementioned date. Oral argument will proceed in strict accordance with CRC, rule 23(c). The court does not anticipate expanding the time limits set forth in rule 23(c) at the request of any party or amicus curiae. If any party desires to waive oral argument, it must notify the court of any such intention by letter within 10 days of the date of this notice. Any party that wishes to call the court's attention to cases decided since the briefs were filed may do so by letter within 10 days from the date of this notice. Counsel must comply with rule 18 of the CRC if seeking to transmit any additional exhibits to this court. William R. The Court's decision must issue within 90 days of the date of the hearing. That date is October 8, 2006. Division 3 of the 1st Appellate District currently consists of Justices McGuiness (APJ), Parrilli, Pollak and Siggins.
