Bob Dylan has topped another chart -- the legal-writing chart. Alex B. Long, an Oklahoma City University School of Law professor, has discovered that Dylan is the most frequently cited musical artist by legal writers, with Paul Simon, the Rolling Stones and the Grateful Dead also making the top 10. But as the baby boom generation retires, there will probably be fewer Beatles lyrics. Long's research provides hints that the next wave will feature lyrics by hip-hop artists like Public Enemy and Tupac Shakur.
