Social movements and the law do not always see eye to eye, but a group of Native American activists may have found a way to make the law work to their benefit. Although hundreds of institutions have changed their Native American nicknames and mascots, the Washington Redskins football team has refused. The activists believe that the team's trademarks contribute to negative stereotyping, and hope to cancel them using the Lanham Act. Attorney Jeremy T.
