Did Prop. 64 Resuscitate "Damages" As a UCL Remedy?

Kimberly of The UCL Practitioner blog has posted the text of a comment left by one of her readers, Jeffery L. Fazio. Mr. Fazio makes an interesting argument to the effect that the passage of Proposition 64 eliminated the rationale upon which the courts had supported their findings that the Unfair Competition Law allows only awards of equitable relief (including restitution), and not of damages. It's a powerful argument, and well worth reading.
