Disbarred, Jailed Attorney Blasts Judge

In a handwritten motion filed yesterday, disbarred and incarcerated attorney Mark David Frankel accuses a judge of acting in an "intentionally anti-Jewish" manner by jailing him for contempt of court.

Frankel, 57, of "Turn the Book Over" fame, is serving a 30-day sentence handed down by Senior Judge Barry Feudale, who in his written order said Frankel "blatantly" and "willfully" disobeyed repeated court orders to turn over his financial records to the attorney representing Lois Lockwood.

Lockwood sued Frankel in York County's civil court for assault and battery. On Oct. 7, a jury decided Frankel inappropriately touched Lockwood inside a York bar in June 1998, groping her breasts and sliding his hand under her shorts.
