The San Jose police have identified the source of the fingertip allegedly found in a bowl of Wendy's chili. The fingertip belonged to an associate of Anna Ayala's husband, and it was lost in "an industrial accident" in Nevada in December 2004. The fingertip-loser gave his severed finger to Ayala's husband. As the police chief said, "The jig is up."
