Will Going Wireless Bring Legal Entanglements for San Francisco?

Many communities across the U.S. have explored municipal broadband projects -- some wireless, some not. And along the way, some have run into roadblocks -- generally from service providers that stand to lose business -- in the form of litigation, legislation or public-opinion campaigns. So, as San Francisco ponders the technological puzzles in its plans for universal, affordable wireless Internet access, the city is also keeping its ear to the ground for potential opposition.
