Earlier this year, the Los Angeles County Superior Court judge was accused of ethical breaches for allegedly missing court twice, once so he could appear on a show where he commented on a pending case.
Now, the state Commission on Judicial Performance is objecting to his appearance as "judge/host" of a proposed TV series in which he "holds court" at the scene of the legal dispute.
One case, dubbed "Beauty and the Beast," included a visit to a strip club where a woman said she was unfairly disqualified from a "Miss Wet on the Net" contest.
"You held 'court' in a strip club, and awarded an 'erotic model' $1,000 for being unfairly disqualified," the commission said in a notice to Ross released Wednesday.
Ross was identified on the show as "Judge Kevin Ross." The commission said his appearance violated seven canons of judicial ethics, including one that forbids judges from using their titles in association with a business.
