I guess it happens in Texas too:
A justice of the peace who was videotaped using a racial slur and profanity while arraigning inmates resigned and agreed to never again serve as a judge in Texas, officials said.
Under the agreement announced Wednesday, the State Commission on Judicial Conduct dropped disciplinary action against Matt Zepeda of Brazoria County, south of Houston. Zepeda did not admit any wrongdoing.
