OKLAHOMA CITY -- A prominent death penalty attorney was shot and kidnapped in a crime spree that began with a robbery at his home in upscale Nichols Hills.
Mark Henricksen, a senior partner with Henricksen and Henricksen law firm, and Brett Hubert, 27, were held at gunpoint in Henricksen's home Thursday night, said Oklahoma City Police Capt. Jeffery Becker.
The next morning, the suspects, two women and two men, took the victims and their dog to El Reno, a few miles west of Oklahoma City.
The suspects forced Henricksen to enter the bank and withdraw cash. While inside the bank alone, Henricksen called police.
Henricksen, 50, and Hubert were both treated for gun shot wounds and were expected to be released from a local hospital.
Officers were able to arrest all four suspects.
I hate it when that happens! Details here from the AP via ChannelOklahoma.com.
