The question of the day in California litigation circles appears to be: How, if at all, does the passage of Proposition 64 affect existing B&P Code section 17200 cases?
The answer is unknown. But it appears to be forthcoming.
According to the blawg The UCL Practitioner, at least three different panels of the California Court of Appeal have already latched on to the issue (some perhaps improvidently).
I'll try to post developments as soon as I learn them. But be advised to check often with The UCL Practitioner, who is solely devoted to the topic and is doing a good job covering it.
