With the U.S. Chamber of Commerce ranking Mississippi courts as worst in the nation for business interests -- contending judges allow high jury verdicts in negligence cases, accept liability theories rejected elsewhere, and let small claims be bundled in anti-business counties -- trial lawyers and business advocates are pumping cash into the campaigns.
