A complaint has been filed against DaimlerChrysler, alleging that the automaker had a role in the kidnapping and presumed murder of several workers and trade unionists in the late 1970s at its Mercedes Benz plant in Argentina.
The plaintiffs, survivors and heirs of the workers, claim that Mercedes provided names and addresses of "subversives" to state forces in Argentina when they pushed for negotiations over wages and other terms of employment. (Click here to read the complaint.)
