Creed Concert Lawsuit Dismissed

A Chicago judge has dismissed a class-action lawsuit against the band Creed, filed by four fans who attended the Orlando-based band's concert in Chicago on December 29, 2002, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The suit, filed April 20 in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois, claimed that lead singer Scott Stapp "was so intoxicated and/or medicated that he was unable to sing the lyrics of a single Creed song." The four plaintiffs were seeking a refund of their $55.50 ticket price and their parking fees. In addition they were hoping that the suit would allow for the more than 15,000 fans in attendance to be added to the plaintiff list.

I saw a similar performance by Ted Nugent back in the seventies, but it never occurred to me that I might have sued him because of it. LAUNCH Radio Networks reports it here via Yahoo!
