The records indicate that the victim, Lana Clarkson, was found slumped in a chair and had been shot in the mouth. Blood spatters and broken teeth littered the scene. Spector's driver stated that Spector came out of the house with a gun in his hand and said "I think I just shot her." But police found a blood-spattered 38 caliber revolver lying "under her left leg." The records also indicate that Spector was hit with a stun gun by police after he failed to remove his hands from his pockets. Spector and his lawyer deny that he killed her.
